Jon Kenny

Prior to joining Greycoat in 2020, Jon was responsible for setting up the development business for CEG and previously working with AIG to establish its UK real estate platform. During his career, Jon has worked with all of the UK PLC housebuilders at main board level, delivering serviced land to meet their business objectives. At CEG, Jon and his team provided the housebuilding industry with over 20,000 homes to date. At Greycoat, Jon is working on the delivery of the Chelmsford Garden Village, a scheme of up to 6000 new homes and on site infrastructure, as well as considering new opportunities to work with Greycoat’s public and private capital partners on the delivery of major residential schemes. 

Notable projects:

• Kirkstall Forge in Leeds with plans for 400,000 sq ft of new offices, retail and leisure space and more than 1000 homes on a 57 acre site. Delivery of a new railway station, flagship office space and the pioneering Forging Futures Campus, which has achieved projects over £11 million in social value. 
• Leeds Southbank – secured planning for up to 1.4m sq ft of office, retail and leisure space and 750 homes on six acres close to Leeds City Station.
• Lighthorne Heath, Warwickshire – worked on a new community development of up to 3000 new homes and expansion area of 100 ha for the expansion of Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin.
